The past couple weeks have been great for surf fishing. Muddy water and warm weather moved in a couple days ago which has slowed the fish bite down. Fisherman have been pulling in pompano, black drum, redfish, pesky blue fish cutting lines, and a slow but steady snook and Spanish mackerel bite early in the morning. Live sandfleas, shrimp, and mullet have been popular baits targeting these fish lately. We are predicting the upcoming week will bring the bite back because of the weekend cold front coming through.
